Spoon Circus - A Traveling Social Circus
Spoon Circus is a traveling social circus, with a goal to spark joy and empowerment in at-risk and rural communities using the magic of circus arts and physical education.
Fostering Connection, Confidence & Resilience
Our approach is to foster connection, confidence, and resilience through the joy of play. We invite both kids and adults to redefine success on their terms, breaking free from the confines of the ordinary classroom. On our journey, challenges are embraced with love and play, with great regard to the sacred silly.

Meet the Founders of Spoon Circus
McKenna Daut
Co-Founder and Director of Programming
McKenna Daut spent over a decade studying and practicing inclusive education. When taking a trip around the world after graduating from Syracuse University, she was introduced to the magic of circus arts. An accessible space for all to shine, to find their expression valid, and to push the limits of possible; she fell in love with the art. Joining other social circus projects like Performers Without Borders and CircEsteem; the deep truth that this art was to be shared far and wide became obvious. Connecting with Kati was a most powerful encounter, and the rest fell into place.
